Why hello there Tumblr! I see you’ve changed. Well, it’s Easter Sunday. My tumblr fasting is over. It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. Once I blocked it and set my mind to it, I didn’t think about it much. I only thought about tumblr when I was on my computer waiting for something to load or to fill in the gap between classes or appointments. That is when I wanted to get on here and fill up time which just shows how impatient I am and how uncomfortable I am with just sitting and solitude and silence. I need to always be doing something. Time is so valuable to me that I will do anything to fill it up even if in the end it was a worthless activity. Lent really helped me to curb some of my really bad temptations and desires. I’ve never carried out lent to this level of discipline. Maybe I really do have discipline and self-control somewhere in me as long as I have a definite purpose and a specific deadline. I just have to keep the purpose and deadline in mind. Hm, maybe I will do this in the opposite way like a practice instead of a fast. I think practicing the discipline of silence and meditation would be really really good for just like a half hour everyday. Well, anyways. I don’t know if I will come back to tumblr for the long run. I might just end up deleting mine. But either way, happy easter! He is risen! Celebrate and praise. Rejoice! :)
